Colophon

How this site is made.

This site is built with Astro and hand-written CSS, and published as static pages. No JavaScript runs on it except the optional theme switch in the header. It is hosted on Fly.io.

It is set in Fraunces for headings and standfirsts, IBM Plex Sans for text and the interface, and IBM Plex Mono for code. All three are published under the SIL Open Font License and are served from this site, not from a font service.

The site has a light and a dark theme. Each follows your system preference, and the switch in the header overrides it; that choice is kept in your browser's local storage and nowhere else.

It uses no analytics, sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties. My public repositories are listed on GitHub.
